Rinaudo Rinaudo Katie

From an early age I knew I wanted to work with orphans and vulnerable children on the foreign mission field. In college, I went on short-term missions trips to South Africa and Honduras. After getting my master’s degree in Child Development, I spent three years as a missionary at a children’s home in Paraguay. There I became aware of the desperate need for training for caregivers of children from hard places, specifically in the developing world and translated into the local language.

I am a member of the international Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) and received certification in evidence-based trauma competency (TBRI) through Texas Christian University. My desire is to work with national churches, teaching and providing resources to orphanages, foster parents, adoptive parents, and teachers so they have the tools they need to reach children’s hearts. I want to equip the local community to effectively care for and bring healing, family, and Jesus’ love to their hurting children.
